The Christmas film is one of the few formats an audience deliberately returns to every year. That makes it unusually demanding: warmth is harder to fake than horror, and sentiment that misses lands badly.
This festival is looking for holiday films with real craft behind the warmth. Family, comedy, romance, fantasy and animation are all welcome. Premium, not childish.
