Festival Rules
Entry dates and category details are published before entries open. These are the standing rules.
DRAFT. These rules are a working draft for product development. They have not been reviewed by legal counsel and are not yet binding.
- Who can enter
- Any filmmaker who owns or controls the rights needed to distribute their film. Solo creators and studios are judged in the same categories.
- What counts as an AI film
- Films are classified as AI Native, AI Hybrid, or AI Assisted. All three are eligible. You declare your classification at submission and the editorial team confirms it.
- Review before selection
- Every entry passes automated inspection, safety review, technical review, rights-risk review, and editorial review before it can be selected. Automated inspection produces reports for human reviewers. It does not decide anything on its own.
- Rights
- You must certify that you hold the rights to the film, to its music and audio, and to any identifiable real-person likeness. Certifications are recorded with a timestamp. Inaccurate certifications may result in removal at any stage, including after an award.
- Revisions
- Reviewers may request a revision with timestamped notes. You may submit a new version. Version history is preserved.
- No guarantee
- Submission does not guarantee acceptance, selection, an award, distribution, or a development conversation.
