Festival Rules

Entry dates and category details are published before entries open. These are the standing rules.

DRAFT. These rules are a working draft for product development. They have not been reviewed by legal counsel and are not yet binding.

Who can enter
Any filmmaker who owns or controls the rights needed to distribute their film. Solo creators and studios are judged in the same categories.
What counts as an AI film
Films are classified as AI Native, AI Hybrid, or AI Assisted. All three are eligible. You declare your classification at submission and the editorial team confirms it.
Review before selection
Every entry passes automated inspection, safety review, technical review, rights-risk review, and editorial review before it can be selected. Automated inspection produces reports for human reviewers. It does not decide anything on its own.
Rights
You must certify that you hold the rights to the film, to its music and audio, and to any identifiable real-person likeness. Certifications are recorded with a timestamp. Inaccurate certifications may result in removal at any stage, including after an award.
Revisions
Reviewers may request a revision with timestamped notes. You may submit a new version. Version history is preserved.
No guarantee
Submission does not guarantee acceptance, selection, an award, distribution, or a development conversation.
